Teach For Australia can only accept applications from Australian citizens or permanent residents. If you are in Australia under a temporary visa, you are not eligible to apply for the program (regardless of your work rights). During our selection process, we will ask all candidates to provide evidence of citizenship or residency.

All applicants must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree, or be on track to successfully complete one by the end of the year in which you are applying. You are NOT eligible to apply for this program if you have completed 50% or more of a teaching qualification.

Our application process is designed in two stages. The first section collects basic information and the second gives you the opportunity to share more about yourself.

You can complete both stages in one sitting; or take your time with the second part using a link we provide via e-mail, which allows you to save your progress and come back to your responses and connect with recruiters or attend events before submitting.

To ensure you are suited to this program, this application will ask questions about your past experiences, abilities and background, as well as your values, attitudes and beliefs.
